I have quite a few pet peeves. They are each pretty odd. One of them is that I hate to buy ice. What a rip off! At work, we used to have a youth group meet in this building that had an ice machine. Then, recently, we moved to a bigger location, but no ice machine. I never realized my aversion to buying ice until then. And, now, every week, it makes me crazy! The kids think I'm crazy, of course.
What are your pet peeves?

Overall Pet Peeve: Disorganization
A couple of things that drive me nuts are my husband talking on his freakin cell phone during social outings and twisted up bed sheets. I'm a "neat sleeper."
Bad drivers and stupidity.
One more thing in light of just watching the news....
I can't stand thuggery.
Tim, I'm with you. When was the last time you drove through Hialeah? Now that's bad driving!
Last time I drove through Hialeah was ... sheesh I cant remember... Probably 1993.
musical artists that cover classic hits and try to "make it their own" Writ your own fricking song. It bugs the hell out of me. Except for one. somoone covered "crazy right now" by B. Knowels. its like a an accoustic folk version or somethin. It's the funniest thing I ever heard.
Cookie and Tim -
Bad Drivers??? How many accidents and tickets have you all had again???? Please do remind us all.....
You got me there, Paula. But, I have an excuse. I learned to drive in Hialeah.
Only 3 tickets in 18 years. None in the last 10 years.
accidents? hmmmm I got rearended in 2003, not my fault. I got hit in 1987 - sideswiped, again not my fault. and I got sideswiped back in 1984, again not my fault
So I'm not a bad driver.
You got "rear ended" Tim. Is there something you wanna share? LOL
Sure, why not.
I was coming home from work and it was 2 days before Christmas. Some IDIOT on a cell phone while he was trying to drive... didnt stop fast enough and banged into the back of my antique VW. at the time it was 38 years old. It also had the original bumper on the back, which was in excellent condition. needless to say his piece of crap car twisted and bent my original, 38 year old chrome bumper. To add insult to injury... nah I was fine, he said ah thats ok, you can fix that for what... $25... J.C. Whitney carries those. blah, blah blah blah. What an idiot. I did say a few choice words to him. long story short... and about $1800 later, I got a whole new bumper out of the deal. He was pissed because of how much he had to pay for the repairs. Antique cars are expensive to repair, as he quickly found out.
I just realized I have another one. I hate when the posts have the same number of comments consecutively.
