Those Shorts!
Apparently, Karen's green and white or blue and white shorts made quite the impression on you guys. LOL. But what about everyone else? What crazy things about someone in band made a lasting impression on you?

Thanks Joe. That means a lot coming from a guy with a beautiful...well anyway. LOL.
Hey if I was upbeat it was because at some point during my freshman year, after trying to fit in here or trying to be accepted there, I realized that when we walked into the band room we didn't have to worry about any of that crap. It was our place and it was okay to be whoever you where or whoever you were becoming. that's what made it cool for me. That's why I looked forward to the afternoon.
well that and the green and white shorts, and it didn't matter what color danielle's where cause she was in em.
The best part about being in the woodwind section was where we sat. I sat on the far left side around a curve facing the back of the person conducting. During concert band, that meant watching the back of our band captain. Woot woot!
Well shoot, being the color gaurd meant that we were always looking at the back of all the band members while on the field. I had a facination with a certain drumline member. Oh the highschool crushes **sigh**

Good point Byron. It did seem that for the most part that there was a place where you could be who you were.
So far as the shorts... yeah there were a few that made it more... enjoyable.

Jeanne, who was that???
I thought you had a crush on someone else.
Please do tell.
Nicole Bolinger's strength impressed me. I was amazed of how much power came out of someone so tiny.
Paula...you weren't the only one impressed...
