Perfect
The other day, a friend of mine mentioned that he used to work for Vic Tanny's. Of course, that made me think of that Hialeah 80's icon, The Sports Room. Anyone remember either place? I never went to Vic Tanny's, but heard about it often. But, the Sports Room? Oh yeah. It was a gym, but if you ever went there, it was a major hook up place. I was only 15, so I never hooked up with anyone, but my first boyfriend did break up with me because I went there.

OMG...I remember going to a crazy party there, as a 'mojona'!
I remember the Sports Room. During it's time it was the place to be. In fact, it was the only gym I knew of. My Dad had like a silver membership and we would go play raquetball there. Remember, it was by the Golden Triangle. Is Extra still there?

we wanna know the real reason cookie! used to work at sport rooms as a weight trainer. once won a bet for doing a hundred pull-ups in a row, great times.
The real reason is silly actually. I went in a jacuzzi, nude, with a towel wrapped around me with my sister. He said I was a lesbian and couldn't be with a lesbian. LOL

Cookie, If the incident had taken place with the jacuzzi and lesbian thing in this day and age, he probably would have asked to watch.
I was a "PUNK", a "KID", you know...una MOJONA (probably too young to be there). It might have been that "Toga" party Mike was talking about. Someone get a hold of my brother...he can elaborate. (poor guy, took me everywhere with him--actually, that was awesome).
No doubt - it was a crazy party.
