Convince Me

I have traveled all over the United States, but I've never been out of the country. There are certain places I have in mind that I would love to visit, but never have. I've heard stories from a lot of you about your travels abroad. Which of these places do you think I should put at the top of my list?

Cookie I recommend Paris, Rome, and Istanbul. those are my 3 favorite. Next would be England and Ireland. I also like Berlin. and when things get better Isreal is fascinating also, I was there in 2000 before things got ugly.

oops Israel. Paris has it all culture, art, history, beautiful palaces. It's beautiful and romantic. I found the parisians to be nicer than people say. I thought the Italians were super rude , but Italy like france is full of history and art galore, culture and can also be just as romantic and picturesque if not more than France. Istanbul WOW where do I begin, it's the gateway to the asian continent. it's both European and middle eastern. I loved it. They are a very open minded society, and super friendly and still cheap , deals galore on rugs, garments etc.... the bazaar is awesome. I could go on and on. call me I'll be your tour guide

I have to agree with Juan, at least about Paris. The people were fine, but the architecture is what really got me. All those lovely buildings with the wrought iron balconies and tall windows...wide boulevards and an awesome transit system. We went when they first switched to the Eruo, so it was a really great bargain, it is a little more expensive now, but SO worth it! The next place I want to go is Italy...
