Two Truths and a Lie...

I liked this one a lot and we had fun with it... you know the rules; though, wait a few days before posting the correct answer. Keep us guessing.

Incase you need a refesher:Here's how you play: Write two truths and one lie about yourself in random order and see if we can figure out which one is the lie. You may choose to write them based on your time in high school, or about your life.

I have a small, blue star tatooed on my left hip bone.

I played the part of Mary in a Christmas production in front of thousands.

I followed Mike Lowell and then posed on his car while he was in a store.

yes, sir I do like this one...it's a fun way to "get to know each other"... again.

I waved to a guy in a KC-135 (aerial refueler) from a C-141 cockpit at 33,000 feet. He was about 30 feet away.

I was bestowed the honor of turning on the Christmas lights of the Macy's Christmas tree in Atlanta in 2002.

I was put in a straightjacket while docs reattached my nearly-severed pinkie toe when I was 7.

Some whacky stuff here...

I cut off my finger when it got caught in some machinery.

I de-armed 20,000 pounds of high explosives.

I shot 2 insurgents during a night time special ops raid.

2 are true 1 is B/S... but can you tell the difference?

CookieTea said...

I'll try.
Paula, I don't think you cut your finger.
Kara, I don't think your pinkie toe was nearly severed.
Tim, I"m not sure about the night-time raid.

Niki said...

my guesses:

Cookie, Mary??your too shy to do that in front of "thousands".

Paula, butter knife incident??

Kara, 30 ft away?? -sounds too risky, no way.

Tim, cut your finger off in "some" machinery?? i think you would have said what type.

Niki and Herman (either together or on separate occassions)

We have been to Venice, Italy

We have been to Venice (Beach), California

We have been To Venice (Beach), Florida

CookieTea said...

Paula, you got my lie. I do not have a tatoo, anywhere. And, Niki, I did play Mary in front of thousands. I am shy, but not in that way!

Good Luck!

I was the Director for the Servant Ministry at our Church.

I had lunch with President Bush in Austin back when he was Governor of Texas.

I once wrote a personal check to the IRS for $686,000.00.

CookieTea said...

Eric, I don't think you had lunch with Bush.
Niki, I don't think either have been to California.

Niki said...

Eric--OUCH! that check to IRS?? i don't think so.

I'm a marksmen with a firearm!

Was arrested in a sting operation for massage therapist's. charges were sexual misconduct.

I stoled my cousins boyfriend and married him!

CookieTea said...

denise, I don't believe the married man story, and alex, not sure about the seduction story.

Niki said...

Do you guys see why I like this so much...we have a very interesting bunch here!

Cathy: don't think you've been arrested.

Denise:no affair with a married man, specially for 5 years.

Alex:don't think you "hung out" with Clarence Thomas.

Niki - Cookie,

You were right - married men, just not my style

Alex - You better hope you were passed out

Denise said...

oops - for some reason on the previous post - it has me as anonymous

Kara said...

OK, I didn't turn the lights on the Macy's Christmas tree...the others were true :)

Jorge Perez said...

Herman's been to California. I think he had a cousin? there he would visit once a year.
So I'll guess he has not been to Italy.

Tim said...

Well looks like cookie and peter got it right...

sorry niki you were wrong.

Peter is right - it was some machinery and yes Aug 2006 marks the ugly 30th anniversary of that bad day. And it hasnt grown back...lol

20,000 lbs of high explosives is nothing... BTW they were our bombs on our F-16's. I used to be a weapons troop and all there was to it was to take out the nose and tail fuses... lol

And BTW - I was in Air Force Special Ops, and we did do night time missions. Ok but no bad guys on any of mine... But would I if I had to.... you betcha.

I once had a long personal chat wtih George H.W. Bush in his office in Houston.

A group of rag tag "commandos" and I once penetrated a secure Army base on US soil. Then I got drunk and threw up.

I won a "Best Legs" competition in Ibiza

Kara said...

Mandy...don't think you and "W" had a long chitchat...I personally don't think he could have matched wits with you. Alex, I don't think you and Clarence Thomas shared a Coke, nor do I think Cathy has an arrest record (at least not involving a massage parlor). How'd I do??

GO CANES!!

I believe Alex was seduced. He always had that kind of luck.

Just like the time he was voted "Best Body" by the girls from some marching band in Pennsylvania.

Niki said...

Leave it to my big bro to rat me out!

I went to Italy for my 15s and Herman went while on tour with the MDCC chorus. He got to sing to the Pope and everything.

Yes, Herman's got family in California. We got to hang out at Venice Beach, intresting place!

Denise said...

Alex,

Because I can actually picture you doing something like that.........

CookieTea said...

Alex, I think I agree with Denise. I CAN picture you doing something like that too.

Mandy, I have no idea which one is the lie; however, I am inclined to believe the Ibiza one!

Niki said...

since you guys keep "name dropping" i'll do the same...

At our trip to Cali, we had lunch at Johnny Rockets and Janet Jackson sat next to us, we talked a bit and got her autograph.

While working at Dadeland, Herman got to meet Tommy Hilfiger and he personally autographed a tie for him.

While working at the Altamonte Mall, Herman met the Dutchess of York, where she personally autographed a nice vase for him.

CookieTea said...

I think the Duchess one is a lie. Why would Fergie autograph a vase?

Niki said...

ok, i guess we need to reintroduce the "post".---Keep ya guessing Cookie!
