Computer Games

My sons have or have had every version of Playstation and Nintendo ever made. I have tried to play with them, but I can never figure out the function of each of the buttons on the controls. Usually, I'll sit there and just watch. It's incredible! Then, after awhile, I'll go into the, "when I was little, we played..." and talk about Pac Man, Frogger, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, and my favorite, Joust. They just laugh at the simplicity of these games, but man, were they fun. What do you think?

I must admit that my husband and I used to stay up late (wayyy past 10pm!) and play Tony Hawk's game on Playstation when it first came out, it was great! I have a lot of fond memories of Ms. PacMan (stil my all-time fave), Frogger and Centipede (drove me crazy). There was also a great computer game from the early 90's called "Wolfenstein", it scared the CRAP out of me, but I LOVED beating it!

My ALL TIME FAVE is Centipede!!

My kids have the Ms. Pac Man joystick that connects right to the tv, has other games on it like car racing, Galica and some others--We love to challenge each other.

We have Tetris on the computer and who do you think is the ALL TIME HIGH SCORE!!! ME :) -but that's because they haven't figured out the patterns, yet.

I wasted A LOT of my money at that arcade too. It's a dance studio now, isn't it?

Anyone remember Dragon's Lair? Wasn't that the first dollar game?

Remember the first Chuck E. Cheese on 49th St. in Hialeah?

What about the arcade classics!!!

Missle Command, Asteroids, Tempest, and of course my all time favorite Defender.

Remember the first football game with x's and o's and sat on the ground like a table. Too funny!

Now I play Halo 2 with my daugther, Chelsea, regularily. Course, through her skills not mine are the only way we stay alive. Sad.

Carlos! I seem to have a vague memory of playing Tempest with you at Fun-o-rama...seems Barrios was there as well. Don't think you were wasted that day...

But there was the Rush concert...
