Recently, I experienced something I was too chicken to ever do-ride a "real" roller coaster. We went to Animal Kingdom with our youth group, and since I was surrounded by teenagers, there was no way I was going to back out. I was so nervous, my legs were literally shaking. While on the ride, I screamed my head off, and once it was all over, I realized, I loved it. I rode it 5 more times.
Anyone else have an experience that intimidated them so much they thought they would have never tried, but ended up loving it?

Parasailing, it's awesome. The one I thought I would like and ended up hating is "Mission: Space" at Disney. I was taking deep breaths thruought the whole thing just PRAYING I would make it "back" to earth before I hurled. I also hate the teacups, I can thank Juan Canasi for that one. We went to Disney on a UM band trip. He spun it so damned fast I've had messed up vertigo ever since.
Kara I remember that you turned green! I hated mission space also! I thought I was gonna die! NEVER AGAIN!!
