Get Real

Do you ever get tired of saying, "fine" when people ask how you are doing? Ever want to tell the truth about what's really going on in your life? Imagine that conversation. "How are you?" "Well, I hate my job, my stomach hurts, my parents are sick, and my dog ran away."

Imagine if someone actually told you the truth about what was going on in their lives. What would you do?

Or, what about you? Are you honest enough with yourself to actually put the truth out there and get real? If not, why not?

Depends on who's asking and how much time we have and if they really want to know.

One thing I found out--there's this lady at my local wal-mart that I just say HI to, cause she's one of those that will tell you exactly "How" she is and the rest of her family and how she feels about everyone and everything around her.

The response should always be better than good!!
Don't like your job....Quit
Don't like people around you.....change your surroundings

I am in the process of changing a lot of things in my life, after 20 years. Things have been hard and yes, my parents are sick, my dad and his heart, my mom and chemo, my divorce (which was final on the 3rd of Oct.),my list goes on and on. only a few of you really know all that I'm going through. I thank each of you for being there when I needed you the most. THe answer to that question is Yes, I would listen to any and everything that someone has to say, cause they might of been going through something that I have already experienced and I can help, or it might be something that I can learn from. You never really know why people are brought into your life, but there is a reason behind all things. Working in a hospital made me really appreciate life itself. people are always die'n and some have no one to talk to. So I guess I was blessed with the gift of listening.

By the way, Mike my favorite say'n now is if I was any better, I'd be a twin.
