THANK YOU * THANK YOU * THANK YOU *

Cookie and Cathy---Well, what can we say! You guys have pulled an amazing reunion together. All your hard work, wonderful creativity, and continued persistance has made this an event to remember. Sure we would have loved to have SEEN more people there, but we know they were; in our conversations, in our memories, in our slide show, in our hearts.

Eric---Hon, gotta thank you for my aches and pains...specially my lower back! I wouldn't trade it for anything right now. I didn't think the "BIG MOMMA" would come back to haunt me in some 20 years.
***please don't make me do that again ;}

Tim---Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I promised you a POST, so here you have it! ***don't worry there WILL be more---time to absorb everything right now***

You're welcome! And, a big thank you to all of you for coming. That was the whole reason why we wanted to put this together-to see all of you.

What a night!! Thanks to everyone who made it possible. Cathy and Cookie, you took on a monumental task and made it unforgettable. Mike, you had us all up and dancing till our feet just about bled! Kudos! Kelly and I had an awesome time and wished we could have stayed for Sunday's activities (damned kids needed their mommies ::eyeroll::). We remarked the next day, in between prayers that we would get on the flight, at how nice everyone was...no cliques, no egos to overcome. Ack, we've GROWN UP!!! I knew we had grown up when before I laid down to go to sleep Saturday night I popped 1600 mg's of Ibuprofen and STILL had trouble getting up the next morning! Hope we can do this again next year...love you guys!

OK guys! now that you have made me cry......I thank you all for being there. I miss you all already. I have to thank Cookie for all her help and then some.
We accomplished what we had set out to do, and that was to have you all together again. It has been something that I'm sure was burning in all of our heart, minds and souls.Thank you again for coming and hope to see you and more at the next one.

It was amazing seen all you "kids" with kids. It took me awhile getting use to hearing those little people calling you mom and dad. This brought back so many memories I am looking forward to doing it again next year and hoping that more of you show up. We felt like we were chaperoning all of you on a field trip. THANK YOU CHRISTINA AND CATHY for all the memories. Mom & Dad Gonzalez

I really wish I could have brought my family and stayed for Sunday. I would have loved to have heard from Bill about what became of "The General Lee", and to have visited with some of our band parents extrordinaire. My daughter, Beth (9) now says she wants to be in the colorguard in HS ::soft whimper:: I'm so proud!

Too funny... General Lee it wasn't... more like a puke green 1970 Nova...

Speaking of our rattle traps we drove in High shcool what happened to everyone elses? Mine was totaled in a bad hit and run accident on I-95 in 1987...it wasnt pretty.

BTW Kara - who you calling grown up? I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

Jorge,

If that orange bug would talk - there would be quite a few of us in trouble - big time.

Let's be glad it doesn't talk

what more can be said - AN UNBELIEVABLY GREAT TIME!!!

Love you all to death! It was like stepping into a time machine and fast-forwarded to the reunion.

There are just too many fun things that happened and I need to space them out for a while to keep you engaged ;>

But the one thing I will share is when we were getting ready for our trip Janet looked at me and asked "are these like band geeks were going to be with all weekend?"

On the way home she said "man they rock! What a fun, wonderful group of folks"

She also said everyone treated her as if you had been friends with her forever as well. Much appreciated for sharing the love!!!

Take Care Everyone!!!!

how sweet. she fit right in with us!

Niki said...

how's that for "Band Geeks" Janet.

Brad... Yes Janet... are we lost...

CookieTea said...

yeah, you're right debbie. I need your constant love and devotion-forever! :)

I would love to see everyone for Christmas. That would really be fun.

Working on it as you all type. Majority wins, which week end is good for everyone?
I love you all and that includes everyones spouses, cause once you marry into the family, you are stuck for life. Smooches to all.

Kelly, what about certain people BREAKING your sunroof ::looking over at Robert V::

Niki said...

As I was reading about your car, Kelly, the first thought that came to mind was the incident Kara spoke of....How many of us were in there? or were we in separate cars....cruising down 49th!!! right?

Niki said...

we should make a "Car" post. i think we all have stories about cars...--who remembers somebodies (not a band member) yellow Gremilin...how many people did we fit in there?

Anyone remember the Blue Flame??? That was Herman's---OH!! the stories HE's told ME....

Kara said...

I vaguely remember something about my VW Rabbit (ugh, DIESEL) in Kelly's driveway after some party...and something about some car running outta gas just outside Loch Lomond (sp?) one night...

CookieTea said...

how about carlos rodriguez and trigger? where is carlos?

Niki said...

Trigger---yes! and I have no idea about Carlos...that would be someone to try to get in touch with.

CookieTea said...

we had quite a few moments in that car. I vaguely remember something with the horn. Was it a siren or something? Didn't we scare a lot of people with it? I know we sure laughed a lot.
