You've Got the Look
The 80's were a memorable time for a lot of reasons. One of those was the fashion. Who in our group really had the 80's look down pat? What about the look do you remember most?
hmmm shorty shorts for one. the "flash dance look" the "Madonna look" high heals and leggings capizios and deck shoes tight jeans izod shirts and "concert shirts"... those 3/4 sleeve shirts you got at a concert and checkered board shoes and hats
last but not least.... cheap sunglasses...like in risky business... yeah i know ray bans... but most wore cheap walgreens $5.00 black sunglasses.
for me.. jeans and t-shirt... still that way today.
I fondly remember cookie and nikki had that boy george thing down pat. then there were the folding carrerra sunglasses. oh yeah and quite a few of the girls had that pat benatar thing going. and who can forget the parachute pants and muscle shirts. can you imgine what we'd look like with that gear on today. I shudder
The HAIR people, let's not forget the HAIR. The higher the better for us girls and the mullet for the guys.
Cookie, I always tell my daughter about you and that pink streak you had on your bangs (covering your eyes)--and they think they started a new trend, huh...
funny, ' cause I was going to say Niki! The different-colored converse, orange eyeshadow, and you had really cool clothes, oh, and don't forget your hair, really gave you the whole 80's look.
I was also going to say Albert. He not only had a mullet, but wore and orange one too!

Jorge B. also had the whole 80's look going.
I remember capizzios. I wore the heck out of mine.
I remember Cookie having that boy George look down to a T.
The flourescent colors. The brighter the yellow and green the better. And those "O" ring bracellets.
