Sell Out

When I turned 15, my father forced me to wear the typical QuinceaƱera dress and scheduled an appointment to take my 15's pictures. I hated him for it at the time. The dress was horrible-white with ruffles, pink trim, and a gigantic hoop underneath. To rebel, I went to the beach the morning I was to take my pictrures, and got a terrible sunburn. Today, I look at those pictures, and I love them. One day, when I have a granddaughter, I will do the same with her.

What did your parents force you to do, but now, you are grateful you did? Have you forced your kids to do the same?

Oh Cookie, please share the picture.

I can't remember my parents forcing me into anything. (See Spoiled Post)

Believe it or not I have enjoyed my trip to Europe (I went for my 15s-I opted for the trip instead of the party)as an adult more than when I actually took it.

Realizing the amazing places I went to as they became more interesting as an adult.
