Whatever you do, don't fall asleep.

To me, Freddy Kreugar is the scariest movie character of all time. I still can't watch those movies. Maybe it is because I have always had insomnia, or the whole child killer thing, or maybe it was the freaky knife gloves. I don't know, but he scares me. Who do you think is the scariest movie character, and why?

Horror movies don't scare me... I like them.

Things that are scarey, not that I'm afraid of them... are things like Barney and teletubbies... that stuff ought to scare the hell out of ya!

The shark in Jaws. I know it was really cheesy at times, but when you couldn't see him, but you KNEW he was there ::shudder::

Linda Blair in The Exorcist is my number one "human" scariest horror film character.

I agree with you, Kara! For me, it's totally Linda Blair.

Though, recently I saw the movie: The Exorcism of Emily Rose and OMG, that girl did an awesome job too. I had to watch it in the afternoon (because when i first started to watch it, i realized i was NOT going to watch it before going to sleep)so, needless to say it took me about 3 days to watch the damn thing. Pretty freaky.

OMG, The Stand is my all-time favorite book!! The movies wasn't nearly as bad as I feared it might be. You know how it is to watch the movie adaptation of a book you just love ::cringe::

I have to agree.. The Stand is an excellent book. My favorite one also.

Never read that book. I guess I should. Hannibal Lecter was extremely scary in the book, but I didn't think the movie was as bad.

The Stand is awesome. It really creeped me out because I could so see that happening. Maybe not the whole "Good vs. Evil" thing but the government manufactured "Super Flu", oh yeah. Stephen King does have a better one if you want a good scare though. The movie made from it bites but the book......great. The name, "IT".
