Why Would I Want to Hang Out With You?

I talked to someone this morning, who shall remain nameless, and she brought up a good point. This person said that by reading this blog, she has no clue who we are today. She knows pretty much who we were then, but would like to know more about us now, like what we do, what we like and so on. So, here's the question: What makes you so interesting today? Briefly tell us one thing that makes us want to hang out with you.

Two Truths and a Lie

Perceptions. Someone told me right before the reunion that this was what high school was all about. This person nailed it. We each had certain perceptions of everyone else. Admit it. So, let's play a little game. It's called two truths and a lie. Here's how you play: Write two truths and one lie about yourself in random order and see if we can figure out which one is the lie. The Three Jorges

Who remembers the 3 Jorges? Everyone. Jorge Balleste, Jorge Perez, and George Mayor. Each of them is memorable for their own reasons. Some of these reasons have made them infamous. Two were present at the reunion. We never found George Mayor. Where is he? Can you name 3 other famous Jorges (or Georges)?

Pizza and Corn

I was thinking today about school lunch. Why is it that they always served pizza and corn? You know, to this day, this still do that? Where is it written that pizza and corn should go together? Why would you even serve them at the same time? Weird.

Thinking along those lines, it made me think of other strange combinations in high school that I would never picture working together, but did. What two things would you never work together, but oddly enough wouldn't seem the same if they weren't paired?

I am starting my first post. Let me say it continues to be a trip in a "time warp" with all of you. I thank you all for your time and dedication to each other and the group. Now that the mushy stuff is done....

People have asked about kids?? I am taking my 15yr old and my 12yr old, they can hang!
If you choose to bring your kid or anyone for that matter, it is a 5 1/2 hr show, about silly "bands" like they say....They will never understand!

I put up the post for a roll call as to who will be there. I will look into places in the area and maybe those that get their early can go eat somewhere, and for those that want to get together after we can do that too!!
